Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota’s once-in-a-century transformation into a mobility company. Inspired by a legacy of innovating for the benefit of others, our mission is to challenge the current state of mobility through human-centric innovation — expanding what “mobility” means and how it serves society.
Our work centers on four pillars: AD/ADAS, our autonomous driving and advanced driver assist technologies; Arene, our software development platform for software-defined vehicles; Woven City, a test course for mobility; and Cloud & AI, the digital infrastructure powering our collaborative foundation. Business-critical functions empower these teams to execute, and together, we’re working toward one bold goal: a world with zero accidents and enhanced well-being for all.
Team
The Simulation & Evaluation Tooling team plays a key role in supporting the development of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) at our company. We provide the core capabilities to simulate ADAS software and evaluate its performance using data from real-world drives, ground truth systems, and simulations.
Our mission is to deliver scalable tools and workflows that enable rapid, high-confidence development of ADAS features. This includes simulation integration, data pipelines, analysis tooling, and developer-facing web applications. We partner closely with ADAS developers, systems engineering, release, and infrastructure teams to provide intuitive workflows that support testing at scale and insight generation from real-world and simulated data.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a Senior Engineer with a strong background in AD/ADAS development, particularly in data engineering and data analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience with large-scale data ETL pipelines, schema design, web services and APIs, cloud infrastructure, and test automation, with a proven track record of applying these skills to AD/ADAS systems development. A solid understanding of AD/ADAS systems and their development processes is essential.
This role involves cross-functional collaboration to identify and address opportunities for improving and accelerating AD/ADAS development. This includes designing and leading the implementation of tools to:
● Scale execution of simulations and evaluations.
● Debug issues using real-world and simulated data.
● Measure performance against functional and behavioral requirements
● Explore and interpret test results across scenarios, datasets, and development fleet data
You will work closely with simulation engineers, ADAS developers, systems engineering, and release teams to maintain and enhance developer-facing tools, ensuring they are modular, testable, scalable, efficient, and maintainable.
