ABOUT THE ROLE
Seeking a dynamic, detailed oriented Temporary HRIS Analyst professional to join a company and human resource team that believes in treating employees like family. This position is an integral partner for ensuring quality data, processes, and customer service to our organization. We require this individual to be well-versed in Kronos, ADP and SAP SucessFactors. We are anticipating a minimum of 1-year commitment for this role, however, depending on our company’s business needs, this could be extended beyond the temporary timeframe originally disclosed.
The Temporary HRIS Analyst will manage and maintain GILLIG’s HCM ensuring its optimal functionality and alignment with business goals. This role is responsible for ensure data integrity, testing system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, supporting HCM upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects. As a member of the human resources team, you may be given other assignments to support the department unrelated to the HCM system. This role is based at our corporate office in Livermore, CA, however, there will be occasional hybrid flexibility given project needs.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
- System Maintenance: Review, test, audit, and implement HCM upgrades or patches. Maintain HRIS validation tables and CRTs. Document process and results
- System Optimization: Identifying and implementing improvements to HR processes and workflows within the HCM
- Troubleshooting & Support - resolve system issues, perform scheduled activities, provide technical support and recommendations to HR users, and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security
- Dashboard - Develop and maintain dashboards to provide valuable organizational insight at various user levels
- Projects/Process Improvement = Manage projects related to HCM implementations, upgrades and integrations recommending process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes. Serve as a key liaison with third parties or other stakeholders (payroll)
- Reports/Queries: Write, maintain, submit, and support a variety of reports or queries using reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. Training: Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on the use of the HCM. Develop user procedures and training guides
- Collaboration - Working closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to align HRIS with business needs
- Other HR activities as needed within the HR department
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business or related field
- Minimum 5 years of HRIS experience
- 2-3 years experience with ADP/UKG (Kronos Workforce Dimensions) or other related HRIS and benefits systems, including manipulating data, report writing, and supporting integrations
- HCM Systems implementation experience
- Microsoft Office 365 (Advanced Proficiency in Excel)
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills while maintaining confidentiality practices.
- Experience managing self-funded benefit plans
- Able to work independently and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in HCM with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support and applying key technologies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally kneel or squat
- Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer

EXPECTED COMPENSATION
$75,000 - $140,000/annual salary
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job classification, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if a candidate receives an offer of employment.
