This position will be responsible for debugging software, hardware and system issues on autonomous vehicles; managing system release; and developing tools to improve efficiency of incident triage.
What you will do:Responsible for analyzing the data of automatic driving simulation and road test; Conduct researches on testing and analyzing the feasibility, design, operation, performance of equipment, components, and running on autonomous vehicles; Design efficient components and optimize existing software and hardware for computing platforms;Debug software, hardware and system issues on autonomous vehicles; Work with team members to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, provide technical information to improve onboard software and hardware stack stability, safety and security; Write performance requirements for software and hardware devices running on autonomous vehicles; Investigate and debug failures which happen on autonomous vehicles like C++ code issues, hardware issues and Linux system issues and recommend remedial actions; Research and develop machine learning algorithms for Ai-triaging incidents reported from autonomous driving operators
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with sensors (e.g. IMU, lidar, camera, odometry, radar)Experience with ROS-based software development for robotic systemsHands-on experience with robot simulators or other robot frameworksEnthusiasm to understand a complex system and its various components
